Hessenstein Forester's House

Traditional restaurant with rural and regional cuisine

The forester's lodge, which belongs to Gut Panker, impresses with its location below the neo-Gothic brick tower, the Hessenstein, built in 1841. Visitors are rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Holstein landscape even before they enter the forester's lodge Hessenstein. On a clear day, the cranes of the Kiel shipyard, the island of Fehmarn and even the Danish coast can be seen from the tower.

The traditional restaurant with fine, predominantly rural-regional cuisine is known and popular far beyond the borders of Holstein. Many regular guests enjoy the special atmosphere of the tastefully furnished rooms and in summer the terrace lined with beech hedges with a view of the observation tower.

The restaurant is located about 1,5 km from Gut Panker.
